# Adding & Using Comments

Added in version 2026.0, **Comments allow to add notes to the tabs of the Sub-Layer**, to keep track of informations or to be able to share info contained in the Instance.

Clicking Comment will open a window in which you can type the comment.

Closing the window will refresh the comment in the Interface. \
An Icon will be showed if a comment is present, and hovering it will show the comment.

Clicking the comment icon will re-open the edit comment window.

It can be removed by blanking out the comment or removing it from the context menu.

## Sharing the comments in a shared project

To share the comments, the save data associated with the Instance needs to be shared on your project's revision control solution.&#x20;

It can be found at YOURPROJECT/Saved/SaveGames/PANORAmake/\[ID].sav

You can find the current Save ID of your Instance by hovering the **Change Save ID** button in the Quick Actions section of the Instance's Global Settings.
