# Making Holes in the Landscape

The Instance has Landscape holes support, so you can create holes in the terrain for caves, etc.

Make sure the Opacity Mask is enabled in the [Instance Settings](https://sylvl.gitbook.io/panoramake-release/interface-overview/builder-interface/global-features-and-settings#instance-settings) first.

Then, to make a hole, go to Landscape --> Sculpt tab, then click on the visibility option and sculpt where you want to hide the terrain.
